How NFC works in cards and keychains.
NFC (Near Field Communication) is a short-range wireless technology — the same one behind contactless phone payments. In our accessories a tiny NFC chip is hidden inside the housing. When a customer brings their phone close, it automatically opens the programmed content — no app, no QR scanning, no pairing.
Tap your phone
Hold your smartphone near the CrePrint product — a few centimetres is enough.
Phone reads the chip
The built-in NFC reader reads the chip in a split second — nothing to switch on.
Content opens
Google review, business card, website or socials — instantly on the customer's screen.
What can you program on the chip?
Compatibility: works on virtually all modern smartphones — Android since 2012 and iPhone since model 6 (natively since iOS 14). You can reprogram the chip anytime with a free app (e.g. NFC Tools), or have it permanently locked (read-only) on request.
